Breaking news: Tom Green invented planking! After jackwagons from New Zealand spent months bitching that they weren't getting the proper credit for the current phenomenon, it turns out Tom Green, of Freddy Got Fingered fame, began the whole game back in 1994.
For those of you who weren't alive for Tom Green, you didn't miss much. He had a funny songs, a few funny bits, and a whole lot of useless non-material. When I was 16 and there was nothing else like it at the time though, it got the job done. I actually didn't know he was still alive, but it turns out that he's trying his hand at stand-up these days.
This song was the jam on MTV's Total Request Live way back when Carson Daly was slightly relevant.
